From May 15 to 16, The Future Energy Show Philippines 2023 is being held at SMX Manila Convention Center, Pasay City, Manila. As the largest new energy event in the Philippines, This ninth exhibition is attracting more than 6000 participants and more than 150 exhibitors to join. Osda present at booth H14 with N-type TOPCon double-glass high-efficiency photovoltaic modules, energy storage inverter, household light + storage off-grid system and overall solution.

The Philippines is a tropical country with long sunshine time and relatively rich light resources. The average sunshine time is about 5 to 7 hours throughout the year, and the sunshine time may be longer in summer. In addition, the Philippines is located near the equator, the vertical Angle of the sun is large, so the solar radiation is relatively concentrated. Therefore, the Philippines is a suitable country for the development of solar energy, with great potential of solar energy resources. According to TrendForce Consultancy research, the Philippines is expected to grow by more than 40% in 2023, with a target of 1,528MW by 2030.

Solar PV systems have become increasingly popular with Philippine consumers and industries in recent years as the cost of solar equipment has steadily decreased and the time required to install and debug solar projects has become shorter. In 2022, the Philippine Department of Energy amended the Renewable Energy Act (2008) to remove foreign ownership restrictions in the renewable energy industry and allow foreign citizens or foreign entities to participate in the exploration, development and utilization of renewable energy resources in the Philippines, such as solar, wind and tidal energy.

At this exhibition, Osda brought the latest high-efficiency photovoltaic components with N-type TOPCon cell technology to the fair. Osda has realized mass production of the new component products based on the current mainstream N-type TOPCon technology. By February 2023, the highest conversion efficiency of mass production components has reached 22.54%. Lower attenuation, better power generation performance at high temperature, higher efficacy  fo double-sided, better performance at low light, and superior reliability. different power components of the same type can flexibly adapt to centralized ground power plant, industrial and commercial distributed power plant, and household distributed power plant.
